General Terms and Conditions - Fair, secure and transparent

The following general terms and conditions were created on 9 November 2023.

This includes in particular the use of the digital services which are made available to the Users through or via the Website. The User may not use the digital services if he/she does not accept these General Terms and Conditions or if he/she does not agree with the Privacy Policy.

A consumer within the meaning of these General Terms and Conditions is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes which cannot be predominantly attributed to his/her commercial or self-employed professional activity.

The Straumann Group (Institut Straumann AG and all of its affiliates companies) work together with dentists who provide the dental services. The TeethToday Implant Advisors are no dental or medical professionals and all services provided or offered on the Websites do not constitute medical or dental advice and do not substitute for a consultation of the User with his / her own dentist. A treatment contract is exclusively concluded with these dentists and no treatment contract is concluded with the Implant Advisor or with any entity of the Straumann Group.

The Straumann Group explicitly disclaims any and all liability for the services provided to the User by his / her dentist within his / her treatment contract and no entity of the Straumann Group may be held liable for any damages that arise out of or in relation to a treatment provided by a dentist indicated on the website.

1. OUR WEBSITE

1.1 Safety
Users may not use the Website to send any kind of computer virus or distribute infringing material. In particular, but not exclusively, infringing material is content that may be perceived as offensive or defamatory. Users must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or any database associated with this Website.

In the event of an infringement, we will withdraw the User's right to visit our Website and report the incident to the relevant authorities.

If a User receives data such as an identification code, password or any other type of sensitive information, he / she is obliged to keep it secret and not to share it with third parties. As part of our security measures, we have the right to deactivate a User's identification code or password at any time if the User violates these terms and conditions.

On our Websites there may be external links ("links") to other websites, the content of which we have no influence on. For this reason, we cannot accept any liability for such content. The respective provider of the linked website is solely responsible for the content and accuracy of the information provided therein.

The use of the Websites do not require registration, the User may send data through the Website and, therewith, accepts the General Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

The Website only provides contacts to make appointments for personal consultation with third party dentists.

By using our Website, the User allows us to process the data and guarantees the accuracy of the data he/she sends.

2.2 By using our Website, the User acknowledges that internet transactions and internet communication are never completely secure. He/she is aware that messages or information sent on the Website may be intercepted and viewed by third parties.

We do not assume any guarantee or liability for the treatment provided by the dentists, even if Straumann has provided services for or on behalf of the dentist or has made appointments. The treatment contract remains strictly between the User and the dentist.

6.3 We are not liable for any damage or loss to the User caused by DoS attacks, viruses or other malicious software/technologically harmful material of third parties which infect the User's computer equipment, computer programs, data or, if applicable, materials when using the digital services of our Website or which are distributed when using our Website.

We reserve the right to change our General Terms and Conditions with effect on the future without prior notice.
